The 2013 Dr. Bares Award ceremony was held at Prague’s Žofín Palace on 13 June 2014.
Associate Professor Dr. Jan Kotrlík, chairman of the Dr. Bares Award 2013 International Committee, attended the ceremony.
The sponsor of the Dr. Bares Award is the owner and general director of PRO.MED.CS, Thomas Bares.
Dr. Renáta Šenkeříková from the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague (IKEM) accepted the third place award on behalf of her colleague, Dr. Jan Petrášek, PhD.
Second place went to Associate Professor Dr. Tibor Hlavatý, PhD., who had already received third place for the Dr. Bares Award in 2009.
Associate Professor Dr. Milan Jirsa accepted the first place award from the general director and owner of PRO.MED.CS.
Thomas Bares thanked all the participants in the competition and the members of the evaluation committee for their work, and added how important it is to support scientific research and clinical practice.
The winners of the international Dr. Bares Award 2013 received diplomas and a reward totalling €19,000. Congratulations!
