On January 1, 2025, the 17th edition of the Dr. Bares Award scientific competition was launched, which recognizes the best scientific articles at the international level in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, and works offering new perspectives on the role of these disciplines in metabolic health. This year, 70 scientific articles from 11 countries met the strict criteria for participation.

Tens of thousands of packages of antibiotics, analgesics for emergency pain relief, anti-infectives, adrenaline, and medicines to treat cystic fibrosis are among the nearly eight hundred thousand packages of medicinal products that pharmaceutical companies have donated to Ukraine since early March under a project coordinated by the Czech Ministry of Health.
