Dr. Bares Award Ceremony 2026: Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Science and Medicine

Held as part of the International Symposium of Gastroenterology, the 17th annual Dr. Bares Award ceremony took place on 4 June 2026 in Tbilisi, Georgia, bringing together distinguished professionals, colleagues, and experts to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions within the field.

To ensure the highest level of integrity and scientific excellence, an independent international committee composed of leading experts in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology was established. The committee carefully reviewed all submissions and conducted a thorough evaluation and voting process, ensuring that the selection of awardees reflected both merit and impact within the field.

• 2nd Prize – Rūta Inčiūraitė, PhD (Lithuania)
