The Dr. Bares Award is one of the mostprestigious international awards in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology, supporting top-level scientific research and clinical practice. Of the 70 professional papers submitted from 11 countries, 33 have advanced to the international round. The winners, who will share a total financial prize of EUR 29,000, will be selected by a six-member panel of experts in early March 2026.

Turkey to host the 13th International Symposium of Gastroenterology next year
We have started preparing for next year’s 13th International Symposium of Gastroenterology (ISG). Istanbul, the largest city of Turkey, will host the event. This now regular meeting of gastroenterologists and hepatologists from around the world will focus on presenting the latest scientific findings, current topics in medical practice and, lastly but importantly, sharing professional experience.

WGO Gastro Prague rescheduled to December 2021
The international conference of the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO), Gastro Prague, which our company is supporting as Title Partner, was originally scheduled for 3–5 December of last year in Prague. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WGO had to move the conference back one year, rescheduling it to 9–11 December 2021.
